When Lola and Lu, the adorable dachshund sisters, became part of Camp Bow Wow’s extended family, J.P. Becker, the founder of Becker Branded Cleaning, saw an opportunity to contribute his expertise. Intrigued by the daily operations and the need for specialized cleaning, J.P. initiated a conversation with Diana Hall, the owner of Camp Bow Wow.

The Exchange

Seeking a potential collaboration, J.P. inquired about cleaning services. Diana responded promptly, expressing openness to trade services but emphasizing their primary focus on cleaning. However, an opportunity arose as Diana mentioned the need to clean high vents, presenting a unique project for J.P.

The Challenge

The task involved cleaning high vents, positioned about 15 feet above, requiring specialized equipment. J.P., equipped with the necessary tools and skills, accepted the challenge and scheduled an initial meeting with Diana to assess the scope of work

The Process

Collaborating closely with Diana, J.P. worked diligently in 2-hour shifts, ensuring safety and adherence to best practices. The project spanned multiple days, addressing various sections of the facility, from the yard to the kennel. Facing challenges with the lift not fitting in certain areas, J.P. swiftly adapted, utilizing a tall ladder and innovative methods to maintain workflow.

The Solution

Resourcefulness played a key role, as John found a solution using extendable dusters available at Camp Bow Wow. The result was a thorough cleaning, met with positive feedback from both employees and Diana, who noticed a significant improvement in the facility's appearance and ambiance.

In the summer of ’23, The Carriage House emerged as a warm internet lead for a Downtown Minneapolis rental property. Appropriately named the “Carriage House,” the owner had experienced turn services in the past with mixed results. The main residence was occupied, with a father and son managing the rental property.

Initial Meeting

The first meeting toured the Carriage House, minutes from US Bank Stadium, often rented for 2-3 days for business, events, and vacations. The space features a kitchen, master bedroom, full bath, gathering area on the main floor, a loft with 2 twin beds, a queen bed, gathering space, an office, and a 3/4 bath upstairs. The basement has 2 foldable pull-out twin beds, a washer-dryer, and all towels and linens. Outside, a fantastic patio and walkway complete the property.

The Process

The goal was to clean quickly and effectively. John committed to turn times and days needed, agreeing on a price. The negotiation considered the frequency of turns and the number of days' notice required.

Quick Cleaning Process

Immediate unpacking and cleaning of external areas. Starting the dishwasher and laundry. Collecting trash and retrieving any lost items.

Cleaning Process

Cleaning all surfaces from the loft to the basement, adjusting based on usage. Adapting to the need: folding additional beds, changing sheets, and maintaining efficiency. Switching laundry from washer to dryer while machines are running. Final Touch: Resetting towels, paper products, and making beds. Mopping the floor from upstairs to downstairs. Unloading the dishwasher and organizing utensils.
